BOX4WATER CW water treatment systems

Modular treatment of surface water and groundwater for municipal and industrial water supply.

Purpose and applications

BOX4WATER CW systems treat natural water from underground and surface sources. Applications include centralised and independent water supply for settlements, remote camps, public facilities, hotels, health resorts, sports complexes, industrial plants, power generation and transport infrastructure.

The treatment process can include colour removal, clarification, iron and manganese removal, softening, desalination, degassing, mineral composition adjustment and disinfection.

Treatment technologies

Process configurations combine mechanical, catalytic, ion exchange, adsorption, flotation, electrochemical and membrane treatment with disinfection stages selected for the task.

CW and CW/C configurations

  • Treatment of fresh and mineralised surface water and groundwater, including source water with colour up to 400 degrees, iron and manganese content up to 30 mg/dm³, hardness up to 20 mg-eq/dm³ and salt content up to 30 g/dm³.
  • Production of highly purified water with specific electrical conductivity of 0.05 µS/cm and oxygen content up to 0.02 mg/dm³.
  • Supply with prefabricated frame-and-panel buildings and internal utility systems.

The CW/C configuration is adapted for field operation at ambient temperatures from +50 to −60 °C. Installation options include concrete pads and pile foundations in permafrost conditions. An independent power supply can be included.

Modular construction

Equipment is supplied in standard 20- or 40-foot containers insulated with sandwich panels. The containers include temperature control, supply and exhaust ventilation, lighting, internal earthing and heating cables for external utility connections. Intrusion alarms and remote control can be added.

  • Reduced installation time when building water treatment facilities.
  • Automatic operation and low energy consumption.
  • Long service life of filter media and membranes.
  • Modular expansion as water demand increases.

Capacity

The B4W-C range covers treatment capacities from 0.1 to 10,000 m³/day.
